Professional Land Clearing
Elite Bobcat Excavation clears unwanted trees, brush, and overgrowth to make room for your plans. Based in Cleveland, Missouri, Travis serves homes, farms, and businesses throughout Cass County, MO, and Johnson & Miami Counties, KS.
Whether you need space for a barn, a new access route, or a more usable piece of acreage, we start with what you want the property to become. We’ll discuss the clearing limits, trees you want to keep, and the condition you need the ground left in.
Clearing for Your Property.
Building Sites & Access
Clear the agreed work area for a home, barn, shop, driveway, or other improvement. Any additional excavation, grading, or base preparation can be discussed with your clearing project.
Pastures & Acreage
Reclaim overgrown areas and open up space for farm use, maintenance, or recreation. We’ll assess the vegetation and access to plan the work around your goals.
Selective Clearing
Remove unwanted growth while working around the trees and features you want to retain. Define boundaries and areas to preserve with Travis before clearing begins.
Stumps, roots, and clearing debris need their own plan. Travis will discuss what should be removed, what can remain, and how the material will be handled as part of your estimate. Clearing alone does not include a finished building pad or final grade unless those are included in the agreed work.
“Great experience working with Elite Bobcat. Had them clear a 1/2 acre of trees, bushes, grass, weeds behind my home. Good to have the right crew with the right equipment for the job. Picked them to clear and also bring in extra topsoil. What a difference. Would use them again and I highly recommend Elite Bobcat.”

Land Clearing Questions.
What is included in land clearing?
The scope depends on your plans for the property. We’ll discuss the vegetation to remove, clearing boundaries, trees to retain, and whether stumps, roots, debris handling, or further ground preparation need to be included.
Is brush hogging the same as land clearing?
Brush hogging cuts grass, weeds, and suitable brush. Land clearing can involve a wider scope, including unwanted trees, stumps, and preparation for a different use. Travis will assess what your project needs.
Can selected trees stay?
Yes, selective clearing can be planned around trees and other features you want to keep. Identify these areas with Travis before the work begins.
Does clearing include grading or a building pad?
Those are separate stages of work. If you need a graded area, driveway, or building pad after clearing, ask to have that work included in your project estimate.
What affects the cost and timeline?
Vegetation density, tree and stump sizes, equipment access, ground conditions, the area to clear, and debris handling all affect the work. An assessment helps establish a realistic scope and estimate.
Where do you work?
